Collection: Childhood's memories collection

For this collection Koyawo's Designer took us back to her childhood in Kivu Region in D.R. of Congo as she recalls growing surrounded by raffia. Her Dad collected raffia furniture, chairs, her grandmother love the handcrafted raffia baskets of all types, some of them even custom made specially for her. And not to forgot the traditional dancers in their raffia skirts, young or old. Her mother was a stylish woman and exposed her and her sisters to love luxury and cotemporary fashion and Gold as she had a fashion's workshop. This collection is bold and edgy, it marries luxe and the power of handcraft designed to compliment every figure or silhouette.
